La Ruta
Consiste en una caminata por las calles y alrededores de la comunidad de Chacalilla y algunas zonas estuarinas, observación de aves y práctica de sendero interpretativo de flora y fauna del entorno. Al final del recorrido hay una comida de convivencia con un anfitrión local de la comunidad. En esta ruta se pueden apreciar aves del ecosistema de manglar así como de selva baja ya que es una zona de interacción de estos dos tipos de ecosistemas.
The Route
It consists of a walk through the streets and surroundings of the community of Chacalilla and some estuarine areas, bird watching and practice interpretive trail of flora and fauna of the environment. At the end of the tour there is a convivial meal with a local host of the community. On this route you can see birds of the mangrove ecosystem as well as low jungle since it is an area of interaction of these two types of ecosystems.

Dentro de las aves que se pueden observar existe una gran variedad, debido a los diferentes tipos de ecosistemas que se encuentran en la comunidad. Se pueden observar desde aves acuaticas, patos y playeros, hasta una gran variedad de aves terrestres como Trogones (Elegant Trogon, Citreoline Trogon,) Rapaces (Laughin Falcon, Crane Hawk, White-tailed Kite, Snail Kite, Peregrine Falcon, Short-tailed Hawk, entre otros) Gorriones (Stripe-headed Sparrow y Grasshoper Sparrow), Mexican Parrotlet, Lesser Nighthawk y Squirrel Cockoo, entre otras más.
Birds that can be observed
There is a great variety among the birds that can be observed due to the different types of ecosystems found in the community. They can be seen from waterfowl, ducks and sandpipers, to a wide variety of land birds such as Trogones (Elegant Trogon, Citroenoline Trogon,) Raptors (Laughin Falcon, Crane Hawk, White-tailed Kite, Snail Kite, Peregrine Falcon, Short-tailed Hawk, among others) Sparrows (Stripe-headed Sparrow and Grasshoper Sparrow), Mexican Parrotlet, Lesser Nighthawk and Squirrel Cockoo, among others.

Esta comunidad está ubicada dentro de las tierras territoriales del municipio de San Blas, a 15 minutos de la cabecera municipal. Dentro de las principales actividades que realizan son la pesca y la agricultura, ganadería y camaronicultura. Chacalilla colinda hacia el sur con San Blas y la comunidad de Singayta, al norte con la comunidad de la Chiripa y Guadalupe Victoria.
Los tipos de ecosistemas con que cuenta esta comunidad son bosque de manglar y lagunas, zonas de marisma y selva baja. El sitio cuenta con Mangle Rojo (Rhizophora mangle), Mangle Blanco (Laguncularia racemosa), Mangle Negro (Avicennia germinans), Mangle botoncillo (Conocarpus erectus), Capomo (Brosimum alicastrum), Ceibas (Ceiba pentandra) y Huanacaxtle (Enterolobium cyclocarpum).
About the Place
This community is located within the territorial lands of the municipality of San Blas, 15 minutes from the municipal seat. Among the main activities carried out are fishing and agriculture, livestock and shrimp farming. Chacalilla adjoins to the south with San Blas and the community of Singayta, to the north with the community of Chiripa and Guadalupe Victoria.
The types of ecosystems available to this community are mangrove forests and lagoons, marshland and lowland areas. The site has Red Mangrove (Rhizophora mangle), White Mangrove (Laguncularia racemosa), Black Mangrove (Avicennia germinans), Mangrove buttonwood (Conocarpus erectus), Capomo (Brosimum alicastrum), Ceibas (Ceiba pentandra) and Huanacaxtle (Enterolobium cyclocarpum).

Recomendaciones
- Utilizar ropa fresca de colores oscuros que hace más sencilla la observación de aves (los colores claros las pueden ahuyentar), de preferencia se puede utilizar manga larga debido a que puede haber jejenes durante la ruta.
- El calzado debe ser muy cómodo para la caminata pero también seguro, evite el uso de sandalias o huaraches.
- De manera general sugerimos el uso de binoculares, una libreta pequeña para el registro de las especies de aves que se observan, alguna bebida hidratante, repelente para mosquitos y protector solar.
- Cualquier consideración médica o física hágaselo saber al equipo operativo para poder tomar las debidas precauciones y consideraciones durante la ruta.
Además de lo descrito en las recomendaciones generales, usted puede hacer uso de guías para la observación de aves, grabadora de sonido, equipo fotográfico o de grabación de video, etc.
Recommendations
- Use fresh clothes of dark colors that makes bird watching easier (light colors can scare them away), preferably long sleeves can be used because there may be gnats during the route.
- The footwear must be very comfortable for the walk but also safe, avoid the use of sandals or sandals.
- In general we suggest the use of binoculars, a small notebook for the record of the species of birds that are observed, some hydrating drink, mosquito repellent and sunscreen.
